Decisions

Today I’ve been thinking about the decisions that we make in our lives.  The events of our lives, who we are, the people in our family, where we live, etc. all affect how we make decisions.  I think everyone understands this idea on some level, but what I’ve been thinking about today is about how my life has changed over the years.

I believe that God sees me at all the times in my life. However, for me, there’s some definite differences between myself as a child, a young adult, an adult, and a middle-aged woman.  I am certain that when I am a senior citizen, I will be different as well.  The way I see the world and the way I understand God has and will change. Yet, I think it is okay.  I may change, but God doesn’t.  He is the one thing in this ever-changing unstable world that I know that I can count on.  His grace and his love give my life meaning because even if everything else falls apart that is something that will never be taken away from me.

My faith saved me. May God’s peace reside in all of our hearts.
