Mistakes

I have been contemplating the idea that the good I do is evil for someone else.  It came through when I watched a YouTube video of dash cam footage.

This driver said that another driver cut him off and then brake checked him.  After that the driver continued to act weird for several minutes.  I watched the video and I observed something interesting.  The two drivers went through several 4-way stop signs.  Although the driver who cut him off stopped at every single stop sign, the driver with the dash cam didn’t stop at a single stop sign.  I guess the driver incorrectly thought that if the car in front of you stops at the stop sign, then you don’t have to stop.

I don’t want to judge either driver, but it is a great example.  In today’s world, we are so busy looking at what everyone else is doing we don’t take the time to look at ourselves.  I don’t want to look at my brothers and sisters in Christ and judge them on how well they are living their lives.  I want to look at my brothers and sisters in Christ and be understanding because I know how difficult living life can be.  I want to see them and feel love and forgiveness.  The evil that others do is good to someone else.  I don’t know where it all fits in God’s plan.  I just know that I want others to look at my mistakes and treat me with understanding and forgiveness.

My faith saved me.  May God’s peace reside in all of our hearts.
